Executive in Residence
Natasha is a professional engineer with an extensive background within the energy industry including strategy, business plan development, technical sales, project management, and technical operations in the oil & gas industry. Prior to joining Zone Startups Calgary, Natasha most recently held the position of General Manager for ChemTerra Innovation, a subsidiary of Trican Well Service, where she spearheaded commercialization of new technology. Natasha has built her career on being the bridge between technology and business, working in the early-stage of many new technologies including oilfield and industrial chemistries, downhole completion tools and microseismic. She has published and presented 4 technical papers (SPE and PETSOC) and presented at local and international conferences as well as published a peer-reviewed technical paper in an SPE Journal. Natasha is an active volunteer participating in community boards and committees, including as founder of the non-profit Calgary Apraxia. She has a mechanical engineering degree with a petroleum minor from the University of Calgary.
